NovaThreads, also known as PDO Thread Lift, is a procedure that safely and instantly lifts loose skin on the face, neck and body. NovaThreads are administered through a basic, in-office procedure with little to no downtime and excellent results. NovaThreads are dissolvable threads which are placed under the skin in different areas to achieve lifting of the cheeks, jowls and neck bands. A series of treatments may be needed to achieve optimal results.

1What is NovaThread?
NovaThreads are dissolvable sutures which are placed under the skin in various areas to achieve a lift or tightening in that area. Treatment involves placement of absorbable sutures that produce a controlled inflammatory response, building new collagen naturally. There are three different types of NovaThreads; smooth, twist and barb. The smooth threads are used in a mesh pattern to rebuild collagen loss in areas such as crows feet, cheek hollow, neck and around the mouth. The twist threads are thicker and are used in areas such as nasolabial folds, lips, forehead and neck. The barb threads have tiny barbs on it to lift and pull up loose skin, creating a natural non-surgical lift. The most common areas treated are the face and neck; however they can be used anywhere on the body such as the knees, triceps, abdomen and buttocks.
